Ok, probably not what you were expecting, but this little lady was stalking me around the grounds of small zoo a couple of weeks ago. She lives on the zoo and enjoys attention from the visitors This photo was taken right outside the wolf enclosure.

Yes, I've spent a fair amount of time observing big cats over the years, but Storm is the first domestic cat I've lived with, and I was surprised at first by the similarity in their movements and behavior. One of Storm's 'pet names' is Tiggy

Great composition and framing.

Thank you. It was one of those occasions where all the elements aligned. The lighting was good and the tiger was in a great location with absolutely no visible obstruction between us. He also looked very healthy and content, which was reassuring since I do have mixed opinions on zoos. It was a very small privately owned zoo and all the animals looked well cared for. The tiger was the highlight of my trip though. I observed him for quite some time and captured so many photos.

Photos taken at the St. Louis Zoo. A fantastic zoo that is FREE.

Some of these were shot inside an amazing bird cage that dates back to the 1904 Worlds Fair. You can walk inside and the birds are all around you.

All edits in DXO PhotoLab 7 with Deep Prime XD noise reduction/sharpening.
