    Hi -

    I took these this afternoon...

    20101212-PC1232678x6.

    20101212-PC1232498x6.

    20101212-PC1232558x6.

and for the pixel-peepers, this is what the EP1 is really capable of...

    100percent.

    That's a 100% crop of the original.

These were done using iAuto, the Panasonic adapter, the 50 f2 4/3 lens, some tweaking in Lightroom, and basta.

    Handheld, ISO 400, 1/100th at f4.

Using the 50 on the EP1 is fine if you are willing to live with the notorious "hmmm, nope, that's not sharp...nope, that's not sharp either...hmmm, let's go the other direction...nope, not yet, closer...getting there...almost there...really, really close...woops, went too far...darn, too far back...and YES! it's in focus!!!!" method of autofocus. To be fair, the same is largely true on an E30, but this lens really does seem to bring out the worst in the EP1 autofocus...

Yep, when I use the 50mm f/2 on my E-PL1 I let it rack back and forth on auto-focus, but almost always have to tweak it a bit with the manual focus assist.
