I decided to give the new lens some deck time between rain showers, and it performed nicely. Definitely can get some CA out of it but not a great amount. Build and ergonomics are very similar to the TTArtisan lenses including the 35/1.4 that I own - aperture ring on the nose, both rings turn in the same directions on the two lenses. Zonlai is clickless aperture though, whereas the TTartisan has clicks.

The sunlight fell on my two newly-planted Gerbera daisies so that was an easy choice. I believe these were about f/4. Min focus is 1.5 ft but I wasn't that close.

For entertainment purposes I opened it wide and stood over our solar-powered fountain, which didn't have enough energy to reach me. Cool effect!

All shots resized but not toyed with otherwise; shot on an e-M1 at iso200.

Bonus! While hanging out seeking more shots a hummingbird dropped by!
Wrong lens so heavily cropped and adjusted a bit; once I went to spot metering she flew off :(

Really smooth depth of field on all shots.
