Unsure about that nervous/busy bokeh though; more examples at f-stops lower than 1.4 please owners!

I actually like it as it creates a bit of a unique look.

The Mitakon 2.36 x 1.77" and 8.11 oz and the Olympus is 2.2 x 1.6" and 4.8 oz.

Voigtlander 25mm 0.95 II is 2.39 x 2.76" (60.6 x 70 mm) and 15.34 oz (435 g)

So it's about an inch (25mm) shorter and about half the weight of it's nearest competitor.

Somewhere west of where you are
I would buy one, but it won't fit the E-PL5 due to the slope between the flange and the sensor. My Kodak S-1 has the same slope, leaving only the GM1 as an option. The only way I could use it is with a tube, and I don't need a f/0.95 macro lens!

I purchased this a few months ago for my GF. I purchased the Voigtlander 25mm last year but returned it because it was quite heavy and was difficult to use with the focus peaking at the time. Now that the E-M1 has coloring on the lines it's much easier to use the Zhongyi lens. I found that the quality is also very good. I paid about $369 for mine which was purchased from Zhongyi through JD.com - a Chinese online retailer.

Here are a couple pictures of my girlfriend taken with this lens:

We also noticed during a recent trip that the lens has blue/purple spots in the image. I read online that some Nikon lenses exhibit this behavior and is due to reflection from the Aperture blades when shooting at f/5.6 or smaller aperture. I suspect this may be the same with the Zhongyi. I did not notice this when I take pictures because I am a bokeh***** and only shoot at f/.95 or f/1.4 most of the time. But my girlfriend does lots of landscapes with it and shoots at f/8 or f/11.

Here is an example of the purple spot, shown on her face:

I liked it on gm5 with the additional grips, size wise perfect match. Only problem is the odd angles that need a tiltable screen. I use Taab focus ring on it. I got also the Mitakon 42.5mm 1.2 which feels heavier, fatter which does not feel comfortable with the bigger grip, and also needs IS in low light. I used the gx7 with that...

So, not too far off in physical size. heavier as I expected. Anyone use this lens on a GM1/5? Wondering whether it feels cumbersome on such a small body.

Couple test shots wide open with the cats, all gm5 w/ e-shutter:

I'm not sure I would shoot this lens anything other than wide open, do any owners do that?

I do too, and get purple spots anytime shooting above F/4 :(

I'm loving this lens. Shot it a lot this weekend while on a trip to Cincinnati, OH

I bought this lens several months ago, found the time to shoot it a bit last April and finally got around at postproducing the images. I like it a lot as a specialty lens, it has its own very distinct dreamy look wide open. A bit hard to nail focus though.

Closing it down makes for sharper images, but it then looses the look I bought it for! Might as well tape the aperture stuck to 0.95 ;-)

Great on the kids as well, as long as they don't move around.

And one shot towards the sun. Love that flare.
