What do you mean $800 off if you buy both? Did you do math incorrectly, or is there really a buy one, get one free deal here? If I can get both Zeiss lenses for $1,000 I'd switch systems in a heartbeat.

    Bye~

Very good price for 2 Zeiss lenses, but the quality of these two lenses are not good enough to make me switch system.

That is the price they should be! Great lenses I am sure but way too expensive at full retail.

They're backordered, but the deal says it's good through August, hopefully they come back in stock soon. I'll talk to B&H and Adorama tomorrow and see what both say, to make sure that I can get in on the deal. But yeah, my Panasonic's already on Craigslist. Gonna be a little hard to say goodbye to the Leica 25, but between the phase detect AF and the better meter and buffer, I'm really liking the NEX-6 over the G5 (Best Buy clearanced them out last month for $260, which made the NEX-6 and 20mm lens cheaper than the Oly 17 alone). I just hope that the Zeiss lenses come in stock for my Ruidoso trip.

These are both round, so today is your lucky day!

It's the square Touits that are scarce as hen's teeth.

Damn.... Sony E-mount is just a little more shallow than m4/3 mount... :p

Yeah, it's too bad that Zeiss doesn't make a m43 native mount version of these lenses. Eventhough they are designed for APS-C sensors, they'd be a welcome addition to the m43 family. (Although, if there were some optically-designed-for-m43 Zeiss lenses, that would even be better... but if Sigma won't even do it, there little hope that Zeiss would. :-<)

It was only at stores that had open box units. There were none within 100 miles of me.
