A public holiday here today in Hong Kong and I finally had a chance to take my 25 f1.4 Summilux and E-P3 out for a spin in the New Territories...really love this lens! :)

Very nice Jose. I'm familiar with HK color and it looks like the 25mm takes care of it pretty well.
I like the first one with the right side cropped into a vertical.

Yeah cutting out the dead space on the left of the first shot would make it quite neat with the vertical layers!

STOP IT JOSE!!! You are killing me with these photos from your PL25 + EP3 combo!! Causing massive gear lust ... PL25 (and Oly's 45/1.8) are nowhere to be found in the US. I can't stand it ...

On another note, those are some great photos Jose. Well done! :)

Do you use the touch shutter or do you stick with the button?

Nice images, Jose. How did you find the focus speed with it on your E-P3?

I am really struggling on this lens... I mean, I want it and like the FoV, but the size is nearly that of the Nex lenses. With my 20mm, Oly 12mm and the upcoming 45mm, I can say that they are great quality, but also smaller (with the exception of the 12, which excels in others ways) than the APS-C competition. It will be interesting to see how the PL 25mm compares with upcoming Nex 50mm f/1.8.

Well worth the wait ( no high speed where I live ) and much appreciated. This is obviously a lens one must have if desirous of having the best images. This sort of lens will have most of my others on ebay. Thanks so much.

    hi armanius,

thanks!...used the shutter button mostly with this set, find it produces sharper images due to less wobble I presume

    hi krugorg,

thanks!...really don't mind the size of this lens if i get exceptional output which it gives me

focus speed of the e-p3 is a dream come true, never thought it would be possible with contrast detection systems

After using my wife's 14mm, I realized how slow the 20mm was to focus on my E-P3. I have been thinking about selling the 20 and buying the 25mm... increased size tradeoff for improved AF speed, higher speed, marginally (?) improved IQ, etc.
