Here are my five, all taken locally in Toronto. The most impressive thing for me from July wasn't necessarily the results, but the fact that I got out shooting pretty often despite not taking a vacation or attending a big event.

Thanks for the compliment! I have been playing around with a lot of programs lately that I downloaded for free but never used (NIK Tools and ON1 Effects) so I wasn't sure which I used at first, luckily I remember to tag this one with ON1.

My strange workflow lately has been to process to the best of my abilities in Lightroom and then export copies to the above programs to play with their presets to see if it improves things. In Lightroom I did some usual basic adjustments: Adjust shadows and highlights, set white and black points, adjust overall exposure. Then I just used a bunch of radial circles to enhance the light where I wanted it and create a few shadowy areas to offset. I used some small brush strokes to lighten areas where using a radial circle wouldn't work.

Once there, I just right click and edit it either a NIK tool or ON1 Effect. In this case, I used ON1 Effects. However I cannot recall which preset I chose, I'll have to try to remember to add a text tag in the future so I can know what I use often.

I would like to get my Lightroom skills to the point that I can do everything there.

Haha, I don't think many teenagers know what a "Datsun" is these days.

That is one of my favorite cars though. Simplistic, boxy design, beautiful livery. One of the best. Thanks for the compliment.

For me July was all about aircraft....yes, the largest gathering of aviation enthusiasts takes place during the last week of July in Oshkosh, WI. During this week, the air control tower of the local airfield becomes the busiest in the world. I have a hard time selecting 5 pictures, but here goes:
