After a cold, slow start to Spring, I have finally been able to get out and take some shots. Feels great! All of these are with my E-P5 with one E-PL1 picture sneaking in.

May was a musical month with 3 Jazz concerts. Micro Four Thirds met the challenge for 4K video and pics. Also in May, a couple of road trips to Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, and Cathedral Gorge for 4K video and photo.

Below: 3 cover shots for the videos.

Difficult month for me to select just 5 :) so I tried to pick a variety of themes/subjects.

Northern Argentina landscape.

Beto, our tour guide, at the mine in Potosi makes offerings to El Tio (the uncle). The small plastic bottle he's holding contains 96% alcohol which the miners drink neat!

Motorcycle workshop in Sucre, Bolivia. I love the contrast between the jumble of bikes and parts and the neatly organised tools on the wall.

Just 5, what's the matter. Couldn't you make it any harder with just 1 ;) :)

Hang on, I'll take a look. All with the Canon FD 500 F/4.5L, except one, so ignore the lens EXIF

All the best folks.

What lens?
For the Cathedral Gorge pic, I used a Lumix G9 with 15mm f/1.7 at f/2 for the depth of field. The night sky was shot with a D7100 and a Nikon 20mm f/1.8 at f/1.8, from that same spot in June 2017. Below a link to the Album of 2017 shots. Mostly all panoramas for the night sky.

My top five for May are all aviation themed I'm afraid, from the Shuttleworth 2019 Premiere Show:

Ayers rock has never looked so darn good. Love the clouds and the light. EXCELLENT work and shot. All great but loved that shot!

Danny.
Thank you. I was lucky to be able to be there at sunset. The sun was almost directly behind me and as it dropped the Rock turned that lovely shade of reddish-orange from the reflected light.
