Mostly macro orientated, and a few in selective colour. Been a month for trying different things.

Here are my five for July as usual a mix of Nikon FF and M43. I find the two systems incredibly complimentary.

A varied, and quite productive month. We are into the summer syllabus at the camera club which means lots of outdoor shoots (weather permitting), I had a trip to Hong Kong & China where I managed to visit one of the protest walls, my daughter had her first dance competition with her new partner, and we took the kids to a local nature reserve where they were embarrassed that I was lying down on the ground whilst getting the last shot of my five!

Did you actually have your GX8 underwater for that?
Yup. 4" dome and an Outex housing. I call it my "camera condom" and their stuff is modular and inexpensive compared to a full blown dive housing.

I've just bought an Aquapac to be able to do this whilst I'm on holiday, which I think is similar but cheaper... hopefully it'll stand up to it otherwise I'm going to lose a camera to the perils of salt water!

Before you put it on, go fire up the A/C in your rental car to the max for a few minutes and then seal everything up.
