Great pictures everyone! Always enjoy these "best of the month" entries.

I did a couple of model collaboration shoots in October that were a lot of fun! Different genre of photography that is pretty new to me. Below a couple of pictures I liked. You can find more pictures in the Flickr album links.

First two yes. The nightjar with the 12-40 due to the em10 having built in flash so I chose that over the em 5 and 75-300. It would have paid me to carry external flash I guess :doh:The exif is underneath the images. Bit of trivia, the nightjar I believe, is the only bird that doesn't exhibit redeye when hit with flash

You seem to nail the focus with the 75-300 pretty well. A lot of people seem to have problems with that lens for some reason.
Unfortunately I cannot see the exif info on the site and for some reason my browser addon for the exif info has stopped working.
Think I need to re image my PC. I use an old XP box for browsing the web and it gets corrupted pretty easy, but since nothing on it, it does not matter.

I bought the 75-300 first then sold it and got the panny 100-400 for the extra reach. Then I sold that and got another 75-300 and some other glass with the sale proceeds. Both of them I bought used and I haven't had a problem with either of them although they're no match for the panny.

I think some folk have problems as they work with multiple focus squares or even a large single. I always work with a small square locked to centre and re-compose. m43 is forgiving enough to allow that due to more DOF. My keeper rate is actually much higher with m43 than it was with apsc and FF

Last month we did a quick tour through Gananoque and Prince Edward County in Ontario, I was hoping to hit the region at peak fall color! I missed the peak by a few week :( but I enjoyed the trip.

This photo was taken from the Hill Island observation tower.

This photo was also taken from the Hill Island observation tower and is closest to exhibiting Fall/Autumn colors that I was able to capture.

I selected this photo because the sushi was sooooo good! The photo doesn't do it justice :)

Continuing on the food theme. I am very fond of Italian food and Riva was very very good. This is a nice little restaurant down by the Riva in Gananoque :)

On our trip we had a little hike through Sandbanks Provincial Park, this resilient little flower looked particularly good in front of some fall colored leaves.

Lovely photos as always this month. I didn't do a lot these past four weeks though, tied up with work and home far too much. Sigh

All taken with either the G6 or the GM5
