My first sporting event of 2021 was a trip to Oliver's Mount Scarborough to watch some motorbike racing. The temporary 2.43mile circuit has been used in various guises since 1946 and is made by using narrow public roads (with a 30mph speed limit) through a wooded area. In spite of the narrow track, limited run off area, nearness of trees, the hairpin bends, and the uneven road the lap record stands at over 84mph. A glimpse of the past and today's heroes

I'm so pleased to see such great images from the 14-140, I think it's an underrated lens, and by far my most used lens. (Because I'm lazy! ;) )

It's nearly impossible to pick just 5 from a road trip, but here are mine from the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. Yes, we were very fortunate to be able to take a holiday, when so many have been unable such luxuries!

Thanks for the kind words I was kicking my self for not having a tripod so I could have tried focus stacking which I was recently informed my em5mkll can do in camera but it came out okay for handheld as they where some rather tiny subjects.
