My first two are pre-lockdown.

1. Headshot of my daughter for a sponsorship event as part of her competing for GB Latin & Ballroom Team at the British Junior Dance Festival. With the advent of the lockdown, not only has the sponsorship gone, but the whole team competition at the rescheduled event has been dropped which means she will never get to compete in the GB team in this age category (and it only gets tougher to make the team in the next age category!). I still love this picture for what it represented at the time! (2nd March 2020)

2. Juvenile Longhaired Cow, taken a couple of weekends before lockdown in UK. (7th March 2020)

3. When boredom progressed from taking photos of my sons Lego creations it progressed onto trying to get pictures of the small birds that frequent my garden. (22nd March 2020)

4. On the occasions when we get out of the house as a family during the lockdown we have tended to go to a local windfarm that is about 5-10 minutes drive. There is generally no one there, and when we do see someone else (3 people across 5 visits) there is plenty of room to bypass them at a safe distance.

5. At the same windfarm, pretty much the only thing other than the landscape to photograph are the sheep, occassionally there are cows and birds... but lots of sheep!

The Roseate spoonbill was shot with an EM1.2 + P100-400, the others with a D500 + Tamron 150-600g2.

Here's my go at it!

This one is a picture of mint flowers. These flowers are about 2mm in width. I used extension tubes and a front mount diopter. This is also my first attempt at focus stacking.

The cat roasting in front of the fire!!

We went for a paddle before the isolation orders were imposed!

Again before the isolation and somewhat of a contrast to the photo above, the photos were taken 1 week apart, we went snowshoeing.

Also on our snowshoeing expedition.

Cheer!

So far our life hasn't changed much in Peterson Bay. Like many, I have no idea what the future holds, so we are just grateful for every day. Nice early spring weather and have been out paddling and working on tidying up our property.
The first two are from an afternoon walk in the next bay

This was a food fight and I think the adult has had enough of the youngster.

I cheated on this one since it was from today (4/1) but I couldn't resist!

Good luck to everyone.
Take care,
Eric
