Not done as much actual photography as I would've liked... weather's been bad and I've had a lot of prep work for my local camera club's big annual competition.

Went out a number of times looking for wildlife to photograph and only captured one photo. Now that the weather has warmed up I'll try shooting some landscape. Just couldn't bring myself to freeze my hands off in -20 weather to photograph landscape.

Thank you, appreciate the comment. I have found that finding wildlife to photograph in the winter of Alaska is much harder than in the winter of Texas. Winter was the best time for photography back in Texas because of the light and lack of vegetation to obscure subjects. So this winter is a huge learning curve but I hope to add some Hares and Lynx in February and of course more fox photos.

Currently in Patagonia as part of our round the world trip by motorcycle. The landscapes down here are awe-inspiring. So much so that not a single picture with the bike in it made it into my top 5 :)

Marble caves near Puerto Tranquillo. Amazing how the lake water has eroded the marble.

Mount Fitz Roy. An 11 hour round-trip hike to get here. We think it was worth it.

Glacier Perito Moreno. Took loads of photos here and specifically framed not to include people. However, this is one of my favourite shots of the glacier.

Lots of flat, open landscapes in Southern Patagonia with occasional sheep farms. For the record, sheep stink.

This is from the shores of Puerto Almanza about 80KM east of Ushuaia. Looking out over the Beagle Channel.

I have been shooting moderate amounts for the last many months, but haven't really been processing my images. Trying to change that in 2020.

Spent a lot of time fixing up my yak and on the water so not much variety this month which is better than last month when I didn't fire a shutter once. All shot from the yak.

January was pretty slow, picture-wise. My main outing was a photowalk in an area of Denver called RiNo (for River North). It's trendy now as an art district with a lot of hip places to eat and drink, but back in the day it was really a sh!thole, run-down industrial area that you wouldn't want to be caught in at night. Which is when I took most of my photos, lol. The times, they are a-changin'.

The last one was in a cramped recording studio where my oldest son was recording with one of his bands. It was his first time (won't be his last!) and was a really cool experience for him.
