Fun Holiday week. 5 separate Holiday celebrations each on a different day, decorated trees, family from near and far, young and old and Santa falling down the stairs. What a time.

Ok, trying not to be intimidated by some of the great shots above.....

All from a twixmas trip to the Lake District:

Fell in love with this mossy wall on a walk on the way to Little Langdale, it was like a carpet of soft emeralds

On the same walk, a fallen log had been decorated with coins.

Playing with hdr scape function in snapseed, looks a bit like a painting.

View towards Cat Bells, heavy crop (I like dark scenes, so I’m told!)

I have only photographed one subject this month, but on several occasion...……………………..

This is my favorite image of the month. It's a good pose and with her being almost perfectly parallel with me I was able to capture great detail all down her side. It is also the only one that I have gone back and did a re-edit on since setting up my computer. The other 4 will get a little more editing when I get some time.

This was the first image of her that I posted and one that I really love because of the experience while shooting it.

There is just something that draws me to this image.

I feel like this is a pretty good environmental portrait of her.

This last one I took with the 150/2 on Christmas day. I also posted it on Flickr on Christmas and it ended up making Explore. It is also at 54k views, so my most viewed image on Flickr. I would have preferred to have shot her with the 300/4 but the battery had just died and I didn't have time to switch it out. I really need to get a 2nd grip...…...…...

First time trying Astro photography. The clouds didn't co-operate, so I added in some light painting.

I've known Juno since he was a pup.

Another first, doing the holiday pictures for a pet store, 100 dogs over two days. Not the best technical one of the bunch, but the most fun.

This little girl was scared of doing pictures with Santa, but she loves coming into the pet store just to wander around. When her Dad saw me doing the dog pics the first week he asked if I'd do one of her. Cute as a button.

I have just three. For the first two, content is king.

The buck stops here.
