I thought it would be cool to all share our self portraits. Everyone has some form of one, I'm sure. So this could be a cool thread.

It would be great if with a photo, you also said what gear you used to achieve it.

I'll go first. I used a cheap tripod, the Olympus OM-D EM-5 with the 45mm f/1.8 lens and the Canon 430EX MKii flash (on camera, worked a treat). I originally shot in colour but converted it to B&W and did some more processing to bring out all the detail and flaws in my skin. All processing was done on an iPad with Snapseed and Photoforge2 (amazing apps btw).

Not exactly a self-portrait, although it was taken by my girlfriend with my other camera, an OM-2 with a cheap 500mm ƒ/8 mirror.

1978. I'm holding an Olympus OM-2n with an OM Zuiko 75-150mm ƒ/4.

Happy wife, happy life?
Erich--she's happy----as long as I don't buy any more lenses! Its divorce court if she signs for any more fed ex deliveries that say fragile. She's actually a good sport about my over the top spending. She calmed down when I surprised her with a white gold ladies datejust time piece for her birthday. Gotta bribe her some how!!! Now she's asking me to teach her how to use a few of my cameras---yikes----try explaining exposure, f/stops/ shutter speeds and ISO. Help me---I maybe filing for a divorce.

Gold watch! Over the top, man! In my (limited) experience, one gets a better chance to get it on with flowers, than jewelry...

Explaining exposure: pull a sock labeled f:8 over her head. Don't get the divorce.
