I'm the Art Director at a small military contractor producing LED lighting for military vehicles and personnel. We have LED lighting systems in most of the heavy-duty vehicles used these days. It is a family business, started by the father during WWII. He created lights that floated to mark routes in mined harbors. His son started the company I work for, and HIS son and daughter run the day-to-day ops of the business today. Other family members own similar businesses.

Anyway, the owner walked by my office a couple of weeks ago, and I stopped him to show off my new MAL-1 Macro Light (an LED device). He shrugged it off, and went his way.

Yesterday, he stopped by my office and asked if I had it with me. I did. I haven't seen it since. I understand parts of it are downstairs on his workbench.

I ordered another one from Amazon, should be here on Monday.

    that's funny as,

I was going to say after reading the first part... with all those industrial strength LED bulbs and parts lying around.... think you can make an industrial version of the antennae? I've been looking for something like that and was thinking of building one myself...
