Just got my M1 from a forum member and subjected it to a few quick images with the Panasonic 20mm. Even with the updated firmware, the camera tells you it's in focus sometimes when it isn't - most of the time I was able to catch it because I am familiar enough with the sluggish and noisy 20mm focus motor to know it hadn't moved the requisite amount necessary to focus on my chosen subject. The files, though, when they're in focus, are mostly good. The below were shot in DNG and edited in LR6. Color wise these are with Samuel Streetlife's "Positive Film" presets, because the straight colors out of camera did not wow me (I knew they wouldn't), and then further tweaking of exposure and some sharpness and NR added. The highlight falloff isn't particularly good, and there was some noticeable purple fringing that LR took out easily enough. Noise is fairly oppressive when the light is low, even with NR (note that it looks worse in the computer mouse shot because I still sharpened it a bit). Still, there's a fair amount to like in the detail and malleability of the files.

A couple of snapshots off the street from some recent travels, trying out On1's Photo RAW 2020, I'm not finding it terrible by any means. 20mm f1.7.
