I really lucked into this m42 lens, a bit dusty on the outside but otherwise in nearly mint condition, yesterday for 19 euro at a second-hand store.

I understand it was made by Tomioka, probably mid to late 1960's, and it seems to be quite highly regarded from what I read online, some saying it compares well with the Takumars.

These are just a few early sample shots, and taken in the high sun of the day unfortunately, but to begin to get an idea. Pleased so far...

I am really loving this lens more and more; started getting some really interesting results out of it wide open at night. Note that the one with the trees is pushing lens and camera to absolute limits-- it was so dark I could barely see the outlines of the trees with my own eyes:
