Another lens without a showcase thread?! Mine just arrived, and my initial impressions are -

Significantly smaller then my Minolta 135mm f2.8 (with the lens hood retracted to be fair). It’s smaller in either position, focused to infinity or at close distance -

Size comparison

Like other YUS lenses, the lack of multi-coating looks like this one could also be prone to some flare. On the plus side, getting flare at this focal length is hard to do unless you’re shooting into the sun.

A few initial shots at the house of Nacho seem to show a sharp, enjoyable to use lens. The Minoltas days may be limited...more to come.

I still dislike a 135mm on m4/3 (and still love 135 on full frame). So this should be a fantastic lens on my film camera if I’m careful of potential flare. I’m really liking how it renders things at the moment.
