In short, I have been tempted by the X100 a long time (I still am thus), especially now that the price has dropped.

But... on every single forum or page I read, I see problems with this camera (esp stick blades) but also other malfunctions and the fact that this camera is not reliable (always take a second camera etc I read often)

    So that got me thinking...
Maybe an om-5 with 20mm will be more reliable and give equal quality (though I think high iso will be less)
Of course that kit will cost a bit more money then the X100

What do you guys think ?

PS ; the x100 I can buy now are 2012 models, but I don't know if they still have SAB or not...

Price for new X100 at US e-tailers B&H and amazon.com is unchanged at $1199.
