    Couldn't find one...
    Don't think it's a direct competitor to µ4/3...
Any issues with this being an x100 image thread:confused:

Even if it is, for some, I personally don't see a problem (if no issue with administrative lines).

Two of my favorite contemporary street photographers (Alexander Ess and Thomas Leuthard) have switched to the OM-D recently, while having also used the X100 for some time. I personally can't see any differences in their work, although I suspect there were more practical/useability reasons for the switch.

I mention this because most of the photos I see from the X100 are either Street or General and Travel photograhy pictures. I'd like to see something different, like some guy that did model/glamour photography with the X100.

    Bring it on!

I *love* my X100! It took me a long time to get off the fence and buy one. I was worried about all the reported "issues". I guess I waited long enough, and all the issues have been resolved, because my X100 is my favourite compact camera. Ever! Here are a few pics from the first two of three weeks of ownership:

    You know...
What I like most is the process that the photographer goes through to create the image moreso than the actual image itself.

I think that is what I like about the X100 (other than the great image quality) - the camera just begs to be picked up and used! I haven't had this much fun with a camera for a long time...

Another couple from me, very different this time, OOC jpegs made by reprocessing RAW in camera using Velvia film mode.

    Resistance is futile

Having said that I took my E-P2/EVF2 out with my new 45-200 on her Friday and really loved shooting m4/3 again. Nobody seems to make a perfect camera system although an X100 body that could take m4/3 lenses with OMD alike responses (EVF, write speed etc.) would be pretty killer.

    Well....
This depends on what I baseline things against.

For example, in the Nikon forum that I belong to, there is a THRIVING sub-forum called "All Non-Nikon Cameras"...and within that sub-forum, there are the following threads:

    -Fuji x100 Image Thread
    -Fuji XPro1 Image Thread
    -Olympus OMD E-M5 Image Thread
    -Panasonic GX1 Image Thread
    -NEX Image Thread
    -Olympus 45mm Image Thread
    -Leica/Panasonic 25mm Image Thread
    -Leica/Panasaonic 45mm Image Thread
    -Panasonic 20mm Image Thread
    -Panasonic 14mm Image Thread
-All Inclusive Mirrorless Set-Up Image Thread
    -All Inclusive Mirrorless Image Thread

    And many more.....
So if baselined frome the above perspective, then yes it is surprising
