www.myheritage.com offering free AI Colorization of B&W images until April 22nd

I happen to have just received my Grandparents wartime medium format B&W negatives. I really wish I'd scanned these negatives when they were alive to tell me the back story to them. ?

The results can be hit and miss, but far better than trying to do it by hand myself.

Agreed.

I suspect the reason that it is free is that they need more samples to train the AI. I actually went to their github post, and the version that MyHeritage is using is newer than the one posted to Github.

The more I pushed the images around before hand, the more trouble the AI seemed to have with them.
