    Hey guys,

I finally sold/traded my way into the m4/3s world and just got my EP-3. I've accumulated a few m4/3 lenses and want to trade one of the primes based on my shooting style.

I'm looking to trade my copy of the Oly M. Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f2.0 for the Panny 7-14mm f4 zoom lens.

The lens will come with box, manual and both caps. The glass is mint, and the only blemish on the exterior is a slight scuff from using an aftermarket hood on the lens.

Please PM or e-mail me at jon91581(at)gmail(dot)com if interested or need pictures.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Congrats on making that decision, as it's one that's been on the back of my mind for a while. I've gone another route thus far, trying to appease the wide angle demon with a compromise of extremes - rokinon 7.5 fish eye(defishing in post) and oly 12. Good luck in your search

Be curious to see if anyone bites on this. The 7-14 may well be my favorite piece of glass ever, and it would take a lot to wrest it from my hands. The 12 is bright and all, but it's nowhere near as wide as I'd want. I could see giving it up for a 1-7mm recitilinear if they ever make such a wonderful thing.

I am actually tempted to take jon91581 up on his offer. Unless I'm doing something special, I find I'm generally in the 9-12mm range on my 7-14, so the focal length change would be ok. I'd also welcome the brightness when in low light (nice as constant aperture is), and smaller size.

I just know however that if I were to trade lenses, that's when I'd really wish I had something as wide as a 7 (I am going up to Machu Picchu later this year afterall)... It does take some pretty dramatic shots...

    Dilemma dilemma...

Thanks for all the responses, guys. The main reason I want to trade is because I've already got the 25mm 1.4 and 45mm 1.8 for my low light primes. I find that when I'm shooting wide, it's usually outside, and I'm not needing anything faster than f4, plus, I'm used to shooting with the Canon EF-S 10-22, and I really like the extra-wide FOV the 7mm would provide.

everythingsablur - shoot me a PM if you need pictures of the 12mm.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Still looking for a willing party to trade. May be willing to throw a little cash or at least pay for all shipping costs.

    Thanks,
    Jon
