    eBay comes up trumps again!

This really is tack sharp, not had much chance to really try it yet, but this was taken with the lens wide open at a distance of about 2 feet - Old and New Pen Technology working together - tremendous!

Those old Pen lenses are awesome - I hit the town one night with some friends my EP1 and the Zuiko f1.4 and they were all amazed by its performance without a flash and the resulting natural pictures.

I see your chicken and agree - super sharp and I love the way the dof works with those feathers!

It really is a great lens. I just wish there was a good fast wide-angle version. There's a 25/2.8 in the old Pen series, but its rare and expensive.

How did you get the hen to stay still with such a shallow DOF?

I know someone will come along with a much better answer than this... but... welcome to the wonderful and beautiful world of :43:!

I am a point and shoot graduate for whom the depth of field I get with my GF1 is one of the things that has my jaw dropping on an almost daily basis!
