I've looked through the image thread for the 7-14mm but gave up after 10 pages of images taken at <= 12mm 95% of the time! I'd like to see how 'normal' landscapes and close objects look at 14mm. Also would like to see what kind of bokeh you'd be getting from this lens, probably not a lot but would like to have an idea. I'd appreciate it if I could see some of your photos.

Originally I was going to go for the 12mm f2 but having seen the 7-14mm images I must have it!

How are you guys finding this lens in ambient light?

I've got some shots at 14mm (or thereabouts - >12mm anyway) that are in the processing pipeline at the moment. I'll post them here in the next few days.

My experience is critically sharp at 14mm and very good at minimum focussing with excellent bokeh, although of course you have to work pretty hard for it.

Gorgeous photos. Do you have any of close subjects? How do you find using the lens in ambient light?

So what you're saying is... The 7-14mm is actually a zoom lens? Funny, I always thought of it as a 7/4 prime!

Ha! That's exactly why I made this thread, the image thread is exclusively 7mm it appears!

I've got some. Except for the last, these were all shot at 14 mm.

This one was at 13 mm.
