Wot no Rattlesnake..Sadly UPDATED The camera that has given me the most problems 'decision-wise' arrived this morning. OM-D-E-M5 Quick and nasty shot... P1000025-RS by Dave in Wales, on Flickr It's the first one I have ever seen in the flesh so to speak, I've never handled one. If I'd have seen one at the time of pre-ordering then I would never have been so indecisive, it's beautiful, the quality superb. If the images live up to the quality of the camera then I'm in for a treat  AND GUESS WHAT, no 'Rattlesnake'. I could not wait to find the 'Rattlesnake' so I charged the battery for half an hour and slapped my Pany Leica 25mm f.14 on the front. SILENCE, no 'Rattlesnake' just the very gentle hum from the vacuum cleaner inside sucking up the dust  THe 25mm is is almost new, being bought just last month, has something been updated perhaps? My only concern is, does the camera need to be set up in special way to locate the 'Rattlesnake' The hum I have no objection to, I find it quite comforting. Sad UPDATE. I've had it.....the 'rattlesnake' that is I pointed the camera/lens at a bright light and there it was rattling away. BUT, immediately following that the battery icon went RED on me and the battery died. Since recherging the basttery the rattlesnake has yet to appear. Maybe it's associated with dead/dieing batteries.
