they should make a limited edition re-issue and sell it for $25,000. They'd be lined up around the block to buy one.

I believe the Leica MP sold for about $4,000. So quite a few.

    They did.

    PHSC:Leica 0 Series Reproduction

The reproductions are available for about $2500 if you want a used one. They weren't lined up for it, although they sold OK.

WOW.....thanks for the link. That camera sound positively cool and so far from our modern do-everything machines. I'm quite sure I would create miserable photos with it. But at least I would have an excuse for they were miserable.

What is the saying; a good workman always blames his tools?

    Hi Hikari,

I think it's "A worker who blames his tools has a fool for a client"

Actually gentlemen.....true to this quote applying to me, it's suppposed to be "a bad workman blames his tools". If I were a good photographer, I wouldn't need to lay any blame. Being a lousy photographer, I'll blame this crazily complex machine (where's the iAuto?!......I'd even settle for Aperture or Shutter Priority).

It's not worth that amount of money. It's either a museum exhibit or obsolete rubbish. Unless it's going on display, it's the latter.

Shows what I think of "collectors" in general.
