(I guess we're going to have to change the name of this forum from Olympus Cameras to "OM Digital Solutions" at some point. Doesn't quite have the same ring, does it?)

I had an opportunity to take to the hills this weekend and packed my trusty OM-D EM1mk2 in my bag with some pro zooms, some snow shoes and a lunch. I met up with a buddy and his family and journeyed out to "Jim's Hill". Jim's a former ski instructor who has a place near Hillsborough, New Brunswick (Canada) that he's converted into a bespoke ski hill. It's a fun project of his that he's been working on for years and an amazing guy. Hope to get a picture of him the next time I get out there, but for a first meeting, I didn't subject him to my portrait photography.

Anyway, this post isn't about that, it's about how amazing and durable the OM-D cameras are. I didn't do any lens swaps in the field, but I did have my camera on a Magpul sling while out snow-shoeing. A couple of times I took a seat in the snow to catch a breather and accidentally dumped my camera in the snow. No big deal. Just brush it off and give it a couple of knocks and take some shots. It's a great feeling not having to worry about your camera while out adventuring.

And since I'm here, I might as well post a few pics from the day. I have a couple more here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/robceemoz/albums/72157718481559973

the one performance problem I had was occasional lens fogging due to it being close to me. Not exactly the camera's fault. The 12-40 f2.8 pro remains one of my all-time favorite lenses on any system.
