Enjoying shooting in this "winter", happy to be finding arthropods in decent numbers.
Living in the tropics does have it's own set of perks :D

Another nice set of images. I envy your selection of subjects. I'm struggling to find something to practice on.

Pretty lucky to find what I do here


The story behind the blue BG on the jumper is interesting. We were walking along a series of fence posts when I was hoping I could find something that would sit still for me to practice on..Lo and behold! I find this tiny jumper sitting on the blue fence post, pretty much at eye level and a solid surface to rest my left arm on to stabilize myself :D

Really nice captures.... What is the minimum focus distance with those setups?.... My macros are all taken with a Nikon DSLR and an older manual focus 105mm macro lens. I would think you would have had to be right on top of them...
