Several parts of the world are now blanketed with snow. It was a sunny, 68F the day that I captured these images while enjoying the ocean air during a walk along the California coast.

I do miss the change of seasons; however, I would not give-up the very moderate climate that I currently enjoy.

Yes, I do enjoy the ocean and I spend much time there as a way to relax and unwind.

Some VERY simple post processing in iPhoto to get away from the tedium of Photoshop, Elements, and Lightroom.

Nicely done mate....I like the Newport Beach #2, a simple yet very calming image.
The lookout shot is great as well.

The photos are beautiful, the ocean looks wonderful - but I love a good snowy winter. I preferthe four distinct seasons.

I may currently live in SoCal; however, my heart will always belong to the "right coast" having grown up there.

I do miss the cold and the warmth of the fireplace in my parents' home and the sight of it all especially during the Christmas holiday.

I still haven't gotten use to seeing someone load a Christmas tree on top of their SUV......while wearing shorts and sandals.

Beautiful shots indeed....but for me the glory of SoCal winters will always be found in the mountains.... :)

I love SoCal in the winter. Snow ski in the morn, sail or surf or bike along the beach in the afternoon, catch a premier movie and dinner in Hollywood.

    PS- #3 is my fav.
