if that is true, I'm glad to hear it because by next Friday when we drive down to pick up our daughter from college in Annapolis we will bring our shorts and flip flops to change into once we hit route 301...perhaps we'll stop at the Visitor's Center and apply sunblock?

stratokaster - when I saw your dramatic winter shot over across the hall on Serious Compacts, it made me long for warmer weather to come. That night shot has a beautiful intensity.

lol ... You can tell it's winter because the trainer is in a sweatshirt ... I thought the snowflake banner was rather poignant ... Ice House Canyon is a nice place for a stroll in the snow. It is @ 4,000 feet, snow level is down to 3,000 feet ... hopefully this week the Cook and I can break away and get real cold. (I have to mow the backyard first.)

Stratokaster ... I look forward to seeing your images ... good stuff. (Is your name in reference to 'Fender'?)
