  2. Well #5 is just freakin' awesome, and the flare shot (#8) is the business too.

They're really nice looking hills in that light, reminds me of the western grasslands a short drive outside of my part of West Melbourne.....and I assume it's those hills that produce those thick juicy steaks from #7 ?

    Great shots Gary
They remind me of "Sideways" and I'm pretty sure the Hitchin Post is in the movie.
Been up to Paso a couple times this year.
My son is getting married there this Fall.

Wonderful hills ... these hills have been plowed. The pristine hills have a scattering of Oaks sprinkled here and there ... just peacefully enchanting. I'm sure your grasslands are similar. Joe, on my next trip I'll get a few snaps of the California Coastal Live Oak Woodland ecosystem. Most of the food served at the Hitching Post is local, including the world class wines!

Thanks RevBob. Of late, about once a month, Mary Lou and I have been heading north and exploring some of the southern wine country. Very relaxing and I enjoy the trip when I'm on the road and again when I'm home sipping some delightful Pinot Noir.

Thanks Uwharrie. I love the southern wine country ... not as pretentious as Napa/Sonoma.

The Hitching Post is in Sideways, remember the bar scenes ... That's the Hitching Post. (But not this one, this one is the original, the movie was shot in the Hitching Post #2. Great food!)

Love Paso. Have you been to the Wine Ghetto?
