Took this one yesterday. Last of the nice weather, today the rains came back.
Nice. Did you use silver efex to get the B&W effect?
The first thing i noticed about the picture was the fact of most of the fauna ect is blown up the hill. The wind must have a fair force around that area.
Very dramatic, I like it, also interested in the processing
Beautiful, and skillful PP too.
Well done, and thanks for sharing.
Seems everywhere has the rains at the moment. Great shot, where was it taken? I spent a few weeks around the Columbia river valley and Portland, terrain looks familiar. Beautiful part of the world!
I used Lightroom, then NIK's sharpener pro (raw sharpener) then Silver Efex Pro for the B&W, then another run thru the sharpener for output.
I'm a big NIK fan.
This was taken at Ecola State Park along the pacific coast in Oregon. February usually gives us a week or so of "teaser" weather. Now it's back to the rains until spring. Viva El Nino!
I have a few more from yesterday as time allows. Also the color version doesn't look half bad either.
Is that anywhere near Seaside? Sounds familiar. Would love to see the colour versions. Cheers
Yep just down the road. Ecola Park is in/outside Cannon Beach.
Yeah, that El Nino guy has been messing thing up here on the east coast also.
We got a bunch of bikers out looking for him but he's very evasive.....
Nice image. What advantage do you get with the raw sharpened the to the output sharpener? I use that to but haven't seen any difference with the raw...
Really nice. Love the moon as well!
Great Dramatic Sky.. The wind is strong...
