Just got my new Rokinon 7.5mm fisheye in the mail. Noticed two marks inside the lens, not on the glass, but on the edge. Please refer to the 2 images I took. Initial pictures I've taken with the lens look good.

Should I return this or is this just a blemish that won't affect image capture?

Can you circle the marks in those pics? I can't tell what is flare, what is dust, and what is a mark. Regardless, it's not gonna affect your images, but if it bothers you go ahead and exchange.

Ok I circled the marks. I'll keep the lens if it doesn't affect images. Being a novice, I just wanted others opinion on this. Thanks.

There's no chance that those will affect images .

Thanks Amin, I'm looking forward to taking great shots with this lens. I just got the Panasonic G5 14-42mm kit and am excited about the micro four thirds system.

The G5 is a great camera, and the Rokinon is a lot of fun :).

Don't have experience with the G5 but the Rokinon really is a cool lens, lots of fun, indeed!

Those marks won't affect the image but I'm sure the purple ring will ...
