It looks like one of the few gaps in m4/3 lens lineup is a super-wide prime. Anyone hear/read any rumors on that?

Haven't heard of any rumors about that kind of lens. The 7-14 is excellent optically, just a bit on the bulky side.

My thoughts exactly. Would be nice to have a pancake super wide.

I haven't heard any rumors either but I'd be interested in a UWA prime. I would probably trade in my 7-14mm for it as I only use that lens on the wide end. IMO, there's nothing wrong with the 7-14mm but if a smaller, lighter and faster prime were available I'd be inclined to trade up (just to save some space in my travel bag).

I would swap my 9-18 for a prime right away.

I think it would make sense for someone to come out with a 9mm or 10mm prime lens. Such a prime may not have to be a pancake but would be much lighter and shorter than the Pana or Oly wide Zooms available now; and if its a 3.0 or 3.5 is could be a respectable price too.
