As I was sitting at a pond edge taking pics of a heron, this little critter ran right near me.
I'm guessing it's a mink ... a first for me.

First of all, sorry if the first image might be disturbing to anyone! This was taken last year and I didn't have the right equipment and/or the set up for most of it hence super high SS and ISO for the first image :)
I was just walking around and saw some movements, then sat down, and immediately started to take the shots of this Coyote.
It was because of that encounter, I bought myself a few long tele-lenses afterward :)

EM5 II + 75mm F1.8, 1/8000, F1.8, ISO4000 for first photo and 1/400, F1.8, ISO200 for the second one.

Is everyone aware of the meaning of the phrase "walk on the wild side", at least in the US?

I chuckle every time I see this thread.

First photo is where he was lolling the afternoon away and the second is a closer look. He had been enjoying the company of a cow and her calf when a larger bull came along and herded them away...the rut is underway.

Everyone who has heard Lou Reeds song with that title and listened to the lyrics!

I laughed out loud many years ago when Frank Zappas Bobby Brown became a number 1 hit in Sweden!
I think no one here understood the lyrics.
