This is an unexpected visitor. My wife, our friend and I had set up our tripods and cameras to take the sunrise on Long's Peak. They had captured the sunrise, was getting ready to join me. I had taken my camera off the tripod but had on a long lens when this deer came up the incline, walked between my wife and the friends' tripod and I got this picture. No one else got him.

On my walk yesterday I almost stepped on this little guy! He turned out to be very friendly and let me take his picture very close without moving or blinking his eye!

From a long morning walk today, not actually a dangerous nor very shy critter, but wild nonetheless. I was actually very pleased with the close-up abilities of my 17mm 1.8 - this one however was taken with the 75mm.
