I don't really know how I found this, but I happened across this well-photographed and explained guide to completely disassembling the original LX100. It was interesting to see the component pieces, for example the large copper surround on the sensor, and just how much of the camera's mass is taken up with the lens assembly. It's a true miniaturization miracle that Panasonic was able to put such a complicated and well-thought-out camera into such a small package, essentially building it around that lens assembly.

Just thought it was cool! And who knows, maybe someone needs to crack one open for some reason.

Sweet! Running across those are serendipity. I scan the 'net for specific camera repair manuals and tutorials all the time and come up empty for the most part. This is a keeper.
