can anyone recommend a good wide angle lens to go with my 20mm or the kit lens for my G2?

Panasonic 7-14mm is a really good wide angle lens.

Raynox is considered by many to be the best of the conversion lens makers. I have not used any of their lenses however. Also you might find one from one of the Japanese camera brands. I know Nikon makes them for some of their high-end P&S cameras. If the thread size is the same as yours it would fit. If the thread size is a bit bigger you could use a step-up ring. I would avoid using a lens that is smaller in size as it would almost certainly vignette. Keep in mind these are still $100+.

if you are spending over $ 100+,.. FYI the Panasonic 14mm 2.5 native lens
is only $ 200 us. may be a option .

That's no wider than the kit lens.

An Olympus 14-42 + W-Con P01 gets you to 11mm for ~$200. I'm sure there are generic wide-angle converters that will work too, but I've not personally tried any of those.
