Wide-Angle Closeups + Background. Post Yours Too!

    I like wide-angle shots that are of subject closeups but have the surrounding environment visible. I'd guess this wouldn't happen much with a zoom because you'd probably want to zoom in more. Most of mine are with the 14 or 15. I'll post a few!

    15mm f8 BCL - Edge softness of this lens helps with the top of the photo, but hurts when the frog is in focus and still blurry

    15mm f8 BCL - This would look better cropped because I wanted the frog on the bottom of the frame but he needs to be in the center to be sharp.

    I love the Samyang fish eye for close up work, especially with mushrooms in a nice, foresty environment.

    Nice mushrooms! I also have the fisheye and I'm gonna have to try to shoot some closeups!
