Maybe a dumb question, i was thinking of what could happen if you used a combination of a 0.70x wide angle adapter + a focal reducer (+/- 0.70x too) in a lens, by example, 50mm is a 100mm equivalent because of crop factor, but with focal reducer it goes down to +/-70mm then if you used a WA adapter it would turn into a +/-50mm so basically it would cancel the 2x crop factor, im i right?
In theory it would give me the same AOV of the lens if used in FF, would this apply to DOF too?
I know it would deteriorate the IQ and be a huge lens

The focal reducer goes halfway to giving you FF DoF because it really does reduce the aperture by one stop. But the front mount wide converter does nothing to reduce DoF.

So you'd end up with a FF field of view, but with 1 stop deeper depth of field than on FF.
