    I ordered a silver E-M5 kit May 19. I don't know when I will get it.

I am traveling to Puerto Rico in June. I have a DSLR (Nikon D5000), but the anticipation in switching to m43 is burning inside me. While I'm waiting for the E-M5, I'm toying with the idea of buying a m43 kit that's available, like an E-P3 with a 14-42 mm lens.

New toys are fun, but switching to a new system just prior to a trip isn't something I'd recommend. There is a learning curve, and it takes time to adjust. Unless you have no expectations regarding the photos from your vacation, I'd stick with tried and true (i.e. what you already have).

You can't go wrong with a cheapo E-PL1, for the price from Cameta Camera, it gets you in and gets your feet wet....
