$20 off? $99.99 regular? Is this the update or the full software package? education version? The software was $269.99 last I knew. B and H has it on sale too at $135.95 for the retail version.

LR4 must be due out very soon. There's an open beta going on now.

But that's a good deal. Even cheaper than the student and teacher edition. I suspect buying this, and then getting the upgrade price for LR4, will be cheaper than buying LR 4 outright.

OTOH, if you want to gamble just a little bit, you can wait until the day LR4 is officially released, buy LR3 at a discount, and probably get a free upgrade to LR4. The risk is that LR3 will be out of stock by then, and you'll have to pay full price for LR 4, if you want it.

That's probably a pretty low risk
