    Hi guys
I must admit that I am in love with olympus 45mm 1.8 and it has become my favourite MFT prime . I love its size , colour , price to performance ratio. I used to have Panny 20 mm 1.7 and liked it but replaced it with PL25 mm 1.4 which is a fantastic lens but Oly 45 mm remains on my EPL2 all
    the time.
Please tell us which one is ur favourite prime .

I finally settled on the 14 and the 45. I had the 12, 20, 25 as well, but overall the 14 and 45 won on a mixture of quality, size, weight and price. Those two lenses cover most my needs.

20 for versatility, size and price point amalgamated into the definitive MFT lens.

We'll eventually see better for this format, but this little gem got me started. I hope they design the next generation of glass with the same but improved attributes.

I would have picked the m.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8 if there weren't so many other 50mm I love so much. :) So I picked the m.Zuiko 12mm f/2 instead, which is something you won't ever find in a quality legacy lens.

For me it's the PL25, although I haven't tried the voigtlander and more than likely won't as it's beyond my means at this time, that and I haven't been let down by the panny yet. Even the occasional hiss of the snake doesn't phase me! It's my favorite FL, which may give it an advantage as well.

I voted 14mm because it is my only native prim, but it also stays on my camera most of the time. I hope to get either a 20mm or 25mm in the future.

The 45mm/1.8 is simply a gem. It's a little long sometimes, but the photos it gets are just incredible.

Can only vote for the 20mm since I haven't even tested others. But I will buy the Oly 45mm next. And IF I can afford someday I'll buy the 12mm Oly as well...

45mm 1.8 for me is tops, at least for right now, and 25mm 1.4 comes second. they might switch positions someday. would love to try the 20mm one day, i had this vision of me switching my 25mm for the 20mm one day, i wonder if that will happen?!?!?

Can't say anything else than the Panny 20/1.7 because that's the only native prime I have. I'm a little eager to see how the announced Oly 60mm macro will turn out, if it's really good I may buy it.

voted for the 20mm, one of the strong reasons to consider the Micro 4/3 and GF1 before was this lens.

Maybe the 14, although my default lens is the 20.

Speaking result, love the cv 25 I tried once, but don't think I would use it full time for random snapshot walk, there's the size thing too.

Exactly my thoughts.I can't tell u how much I adore Oly45 mm 1.8 , I love the extra reach of this focal length while doing street photography .U can don't intrude into someone's personal space and still shoot . I don't have 20 mm 1.7 anymore so second spot goes to PL25 mm1.4

I couldn't decide between the 45mm and the 20mm. The 45 takes nicer pictures, in my opinion, but the 20 is heaps more versatile.

Thanks .. I would have had the same dilemma if my Panny 20 mm was with me ..

Imaginary vote for the Voigtlaender 25mm. 20mm is my favorite focal-length when taking pictures, but the CV is obviously more useful for macro, videos, and low-light shooting. It's a bit tighter than the 20 and only offers manual focus, but I can live with those compromises because of its strengths.
