Well I'm trying to get the best bang for the buck. Looking to spend 1,000 on a Summilux pany 25mm lens which I've seen for 519$. Would like to keep the body around 500$ as well.

REALLY wanted a GX1 but their bodies are slightly out of budget.

BTW I'm not afraid to buy used either.

    I bought my E PM1 body only for $300.
It's great once you access SCP.

It's very good at high ISO. The noise is there, but so is the fine detail, and the noise is clean grain not chroma or luma noise. Most cameras which are touted as having "good high-ISO performance" are actually not good at all. Many are actually just noise-free but lack detail and give bad color at high ISO. Noise is something anybody can remove in post, but you can't add detail in post and it's very difficult to correct high-ISO color in post.

So from the point of view of somebody who shoots photos for a living, rather than looking at graphs and specs, the new generation PENs like the E-5 are some of the best high-ISO performers.

I don't think I have gone over 1600 as in the example below.
