    Wonderful! The Indian Peaks are one of my favorite areas to hike/backpack in the area - that protected little bowl gets a lot of moisture and always shocks me with its "lush-ness". Excellent photos of the flowers and the snow.

    I got a few photos just the other day further north in the Never Summers, catching a little skiing. In your hike did you see any couloirs or protected bowls that one could get a few hundred feet of vertical on? Always on the hunt for good summer snow. :)

    phidauex - There are some bowls with snow on them right above Ned in the Indian Peaks. I think you can drive up Caribou road to the 505 and hike out Bald Mountain. I tried to tele for 5 years but quit and got a snow bike instead... I know its not the same, but my knees aren't up for skiing!
