Hi I'm new to the Micro 4/3s system and I recently just purchased a GX7(w/ 20mm 1.7). Just want to know what settings are best to set on the camera to get sharp footages. And I've wriitten a few more specific questions below.

Is it advisable to use i.Resolution?
Which will give better quality 24p or 50p?
How many hours of 50p video can I record on 32GB's of memory? (I couldn't find the remaining capacity on the display)
What's the best cheap zoom lens to get for video? (for full and medium shots of a person like an interview)
Does the O.I.S. work well for video or do i need a steadicam?
What cheap steadicam can i get thats best for the GX7?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I use iResolution on Extended and I also put NR on minus 5 since I prefer grain over blockyness

50p uses High profile so better for video

    I don't know how long.

cheap zoom would be the kit lens, 14-42mm should be suffice.
O.I.S does work in video, it's the in body image stabilization that doesn't =/

I just use a generic steadicam rig either with a counter weight or shoulder mount,

Thanks Val! Wonder if a monopod will stabilise my shots with 20mm 1.7?

    Yes

Although I would prefer a cheap, light tripod because I just can't hold a monopod absolutely still.

I have couple questions to video expert on video setting.
60p mp4 setting on 32gb card only records 27 minutes but avchd records more than two hours.
Why recording time on 32gb shows 27 min but 8gb card shows 20 min at same 60p mp4 setting??
If I use ached is it easy to change to mp4 ?
    Please let me know thanks
