  1. Made an offer of $900 on this bundle on eBay, seller hit back with a counter offer of $1000, original price was $1200.

    Pull the trigger or...?

You can get E-M5s for $200 used. The 17.5 is $900 new. This puts the E-M5 at $100. While a good deal for one, not an outstanding one.

I'd pass unless you really need the E-M5.

Since you don't seem to need an E-M5, seems like a lot to pay for the 17.5mm

Yeah, if he went with it and turned around the E-M5 for $200, he gets the 17.5 for $100 off a new one. But then you have to deal with selling.

It's a deal, but not a great one.

Are we talking Australia prices? than its a different story. I have no frickin clue!
Edit: putting in the numbers in google, makes 1000AUD seem like a good price for the two :) not bargain, but good deal

    If in the USA:
So 200-270 for the Em5, depending on the condition (maybe get a refurbished E-P5 from Olympus for 240? or the ep5+vf4+17mm for 480 (if it ever comes back))
520-700 for the Voiglaender, used, excellent condition

  7. I should clarify, this is 1000 AUD so only about 750 USD...

The current price of a new 17.5 is 1257 AUD delivered from B&H

  8. Check completed listings.

    Used E-M5 body ~ $250-350, used Voigtlander 17.5/0.95 ~ $700-1000.

    Combined value ~ $950-$1350

The value of included accessories in the combined bundle may increase it's value assuming that they are useful to you or could be on-sold.

Ahhh, that's a bit different. Pretty decent deal then! Pardon my arrogance in assuming my own currency.

Sorry. I didn't realize this was AUD, either. That does sound like a decent deal!
