A possibly counterfeit B+W polarizing filter from CL FOR $30
I did the exact same! For $30 too.A possibly counterfeit B+W polarizing filter from CL FOR $30
Yeah I kind of deserve this one though.I did the exact same! For $30 too.
Except it was from EvilBay instead, nominally shipping from Hong Kong? B+W SLIM MRC Digital CPL. Somebody seems to have taken legit photographs of what looks like the real product. Fairly likely not the seller's own picture, though...
Watch out for your feet, hands, and nose they are easy to accidentally make it into the frameM.Zuiko 8mm F1.8 Fisheye being delivered tomorrow. Anyone with tips for mastering it? Besides "Go shoot". ;-)
and that's why the 4thirds 70-300 is tough to 'upgrade' from. Bulky yes (though not greatly more than native ), but f/5.6 and 1:2 closeups at 300mm. That's just silly bonus talent to throw into a telephoto zoom!We are blessed with the insane close focusing of lenses like the 100-400 (did I mention somewhere I have a 100-400? I think I may have once). It's not always been this way.
Oh, the shame...I've always been a big Nikon fan - there, I've said it -
That thing is purdy. The half case for my Df arrived the other day. I was hoping it would fix a few ergonomic quirks this camera has, and it mostly has. Much more enjoyable to hold now. And it looks half decent too.

The attached 24-85 is also only a week or two old. I went with a smaller kit zoom, as I feel this body simply can’t support the f2.8 fixed zooms...just too big. Thankfully this is a well regarded kit lens, and it fits the body nicely.
