    The 20mm f1.7...

currently followed by the ZD 9-18 on a 4/3rds adapter - apparently the m4/3rds native version is considerably smaller than the mZD 14-42mm kit lens... so I'm hoping the IQ is at least on a par with the ZD version.

I think the Lumix 20mm f1.7, mZD 9-18 and mZD 14-150 would make a pretty amazing kit... if Olympus have taken IQ seriously with these next lenses.

    Cheers

    Brian

Does anyone know when the mZD 9-18 and mZD 14-150 are due out?

Here's a handy thread: https://www.mu-43.com/showthread.php?p=12784#post12784 that I just bumped up. Amin posted some nice roadmaps of what future lenses are supposed to be coming along.

But back to the original question:
Right now I mainly use the panasonic 20mm 1.7 because I like it and it is faster in lower light. I also have the 14-42 zoom that came with my E-P2. I have used it several times recently and think it's fine.

Up until this week, the 14-42 kit zoom lens exclusively. I received my Lumix 20mm 1.7 two days ago, but have not been able to try it out yet. I recently purchased an FD to m4/3 adapter to use with my FD legacy glass, but have not done so either.

    Regards,

I've been using the Kit zoom lens and have been happy with it.

17mm f2.8, and I'm very happy with this lens. Now I'm trying to decide weather to wait for the Oly 14-150mm or get the 50mm f2.0 for 4/3rds......

My EP-2 is only 2 weeks old so I am using the 14-42 a lot its very good .. summer here so plenty of light the 45mm Elmarit is the next most used, for indoor the Pany 20 is best choice

My other Pany lenses work well ..more exploration needed

On my EP2, I use the kit m14-42 the most. Trying to use the 20/1.7 more, but I still have a hard time using primes. For telephone purposes, I use the ZD 40-150 with the MMF1 adapter. It still keeps my EP2 kit small and light. I've been very tempted to pick up the 14-140. BUT ... so far I have been able to resist the urge and wait on the upcoming 14-150. Why is it taking so long!!?!? :)

I have the ep-1 + 17mm. Mainly because it came with the camera and I'm fighting off the urge to buy the 20mm prime. (Feeble attempt to stop a slippery slope of lens buying.)

It seems good enough for me - but you always think something is good until you've had better right?

I use all the lens listed in my signature, but primarily the Pentax 25/1.4 and the Minolta 35/2.8. I'm still hunting for an ultra wide that doesn't cost more than the body.... Hoping the Oly m4/3 9-18 will fit the bill.

Anyone know of legacy glass that could fit my UWA requirement?

the kit lens at the moment as I just got the camera last night. I ordered a 45-200OIS today so should have it by the weekend to get some test shots out to the forum. Other than that about the only one I have my sights on if I win the lotto is the 20mm f1.7, but that might not happen for some time. I'm still wrangling over whether or not to get a flash or forget about it. If I do it would likely be the 36R for it's smaller size and ability to bounce. I did order the SGP leather covering which should be here in a few days. I prefer something to grip over the slippery metal sides. I already outfitted it with a high speed 16gb SD card as I have a 2gb backup. I haven't taken a look at the supplied software, but if I shoot Jpeg (which I most likely will) I'll use the files in Nikon NX2 to process. It's a great program and will suffice. I abandoned Photoshop some time ago.

I got the E-P2 specifically for my MF lenses. Days 1-4 was my SMC Takumar 85/1.8.....the past two days it has been the Konica Hexanon 50/1.7.

I never appreciated them like this before.....
